The solitaire is the classic engagement ring: one center diamond on a plain or lightly detailed band. You'll find complete solitaire rings and solitaire settings, which are sized by the center stone they hold, in 4-prong and 6-prong heads.

Six prongs hold a round diamond more securely and make it look a little rounder; four prongs show more of the stone. We can help you choose.

Four prongs or six?

Six prongs hold the stone more securely and suit round diamonds. Four prongs show more of the diamond and give a squarer look.

Do the settings include a center diamond?

Listings marked setting or semi-mount do not include the center stone. Complete rings do.

Can a solitaire be resized?

Most can. We quote resizing before any work begins.
