About Crosses

Our gold cross pendants come in 14K yellow, white, rose and two-tone gold. Choose a plain Latin cross, a budded, fleur-de-lis, passion or Celtic cross, a filigree design, or a diamond cross set with natural or lab-grown diamonds. Some are made as chain slides.

Each listing gives the height in millimeters. Under about 20mm suits a child or layering, 25 to 40mm is the usual everyday size, and larger crosses are made to be seen over clothing. What's the difference between a cross and a crucifix?

A crucifix shows the figure of Christ on the cross; a cross does not.

What size cross is best for a baptism or first communion?

Smaller crosses, around 10 to 20mm tall, suit children and delicate chains. 25mm and up is a typical adult size.

Are the crosses solid gold?

They're 10K, 14K or 18K gold as stated. The listing says whether a piece is solid, semi-solid or hollow.
