About Lab-grown diamond engagement rings

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, with the same chemistry and hardness as mined stones, grown in a lab instead of taken from the ground. Every ring here comes complete, in 14K white, yellow or two-tone gold, with some in 10K white gold. Styles run from round and oval solitaires to halos, double halos, bypass and two-stone designs.

Many rings come in several carat weights, from under one carat to more than six carats total weight (CTW), and you choose yours on the product page. Prefer earth-mined stones? See our natural diamond engagement rings.

Shop by diamond shape: round, oval, cushion, princess, pear, marquise and radiant.

Questions about Lab-grown diamond engagement rings

Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. They are diamond in every physical and chemical sense; only their origin differs from a mined stone.

Will a jeweler be able to tell it is lab-grown?

Not by eye. It takes laboratory equipment to tell a lab-grown diamond from a mined one, which is why we always label them.

Why is a lab-grown ring less expensive?

Growing a diamond costs less than mining one, so the same carat weight usually costs a good deal less.

Every piece in this collection is listed with its metal, its measured width and its finished weight, so you can compare like with like before you buy. We work in 10K, 14K and 18K gold, in platinum, and in sterling silver, and we say which one you are looking at rather than leaving you to read it from a photograph.

Use the filters to narrow by metal or by price. If you want something close to a piece here but not quite it, we make to commission at collection prices.
